7.25.13 - Webinar: Establishing Regional Resource Centers to Address Wind Market Barriers
The Wind Program will present a free webinar on Thursday, July 25, 2013, from 3:00–4:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time, to discuss the program's plans to develop Regional Resource Centers (RRCs). The RRCs will be the backbone of the program's wind activities focused on education and outreach, with the goal of addressing wind market barriers and leveraging opportunities shared across multiple states.
The Wind Program will share its upcoming plans to release a request for proposals to establish these RRCs during 2013. Register for the webinar.

Virginia Offshore Wind Informational Meeting & Open House
August 14 - 6 to 8 p.m. at the Virginia Aquarium
The Virginia Offshore Wind Technology Advancement Project team will address environmental studies, turbine and foundation design and the schedule for an offshore pilot project that may ultimately culminate in the installation of two 6MW Alstom turbines some 20 miles off the Virginia Coast.
